Totally Awesome!
Just got back from a stay at the Quality Inn on the Beach in Clearwater. The hotel was great! The staff, including the room and desk attendants (and the weekend parking attendant) were very informative, helpful and cheerful. I stayed in a beachfront, balcony room (would highly recommend this type of room). The view was awesome. The room smelled great, kind of like a citrus smell. Arriving on a Saturday, a band was playing at the pool and bar pavillion. There were so many shops, restaurants and beaches within walking distance. The beach and pool area were very clean. We even spotted a few dolphins surfacing just off the beach. The I-HOP on the premises was very convenient for breakfast or just anytime meals. No week-day newspapers were found under the door or outside the room, maybe they were available at the front desk. On-site parking was available at no extra charge. This hotel was an excellent choice and the location is good for travel to and from the Tampa airport. Traffic on weekdays is very minimal but traffic increases on the weekends when more beach goers arrive. I would highly recommend this hotel(655 Gulfview location) and plan to stay at this Quality Inn as often as my travel to Bay area will allow.
